Why Naurt?

Generally, geocoders return the centre of the building roof. This is useful, as it approximately identifies the building.

However, for businesses which need to make a large number of deliveries, there can be a lot of lost efficiency. This is because delivery drivers don’t need to go to the building roof centre. A delivery driver needs to first find somewhere nearby suitable to park, and then take the delivery item to the door.

Naurt does things differently. Naurt stores the closest parking spot and door location of each address in our database. This can greatly help with the delivery efficiency in the last mile.

Most models and algorithms focus only on the driving component. By providing the door location after parking has been achieved, better information can be provided to drivers instantly. Incorporating this information into ETA systems can give better understanding for route planning too.
