Rendezvous is in beta, and very early in its lifecycle. Expect bugs, missing features, incomplete features, performance issues and unusual behaviour. Also expect the interface to change, with breaking changes, before a final release. Also expect the documentation to be sparse and underdeveloped.

Introduction

Rendezvous is an exciting new product from Naurt to help optimise your delivery routes. If multiple deliveries need to be made within a small area, for example, on the same street, then it can be more efficient to park once and deliver to these addresses on foot rather than driving and parking multiple times. This is because cruising for parking in a vehicle, as well as other overhead time costs, are surprisingly large.

Rendezvous takes in all of the address you intend to deliver to in a route, finds clusters, and then returns the clusters and original addresses back to you, including Naurt's signature parking and door data.

This is not a routing tool. You will still need to insert these new clusters into some kind of routing tool for optimal order and directions.

Rendezvous is NOT a routing tool. It will NOT provide you with a route. It will NOT suggest the optimal order to deliver addresses to. It will ONLY suggest clusters for on foot delivery.

A lot of concepts in the Rendezvous documentation has already been covered in the final destination documentation. We strongly encourage you to familiarise yourself with the final destination documentation, and try some implementations of that API before trying this one.

Not used the final destination API before? No problem - check out the docs here
